Webinars to address the practical application of the INESSS-ONF TBI Rehab Guidelines

The live webinars takes place in two one-hour segments on June 8, 2017, one targeted to community-based occupational therapy practitioners with a second webinar geared to those working in the hospital setting. As of May 30 community session was fully subscribed. Webinar presenters: Corinne Kagan Senior Program Director, ABI, ONF; Esther McEvoy, B.H.Sc, OT Reg. (Ont.); and Tracy Milner, MCIS (OT), BA (HKin), OT Reg. (Ont.). Contributing speakers are Janet Fisher, OT Reg.(Ont.) and Erin Godkin, OT Reg.(Ont.).
- Introduce and provide an overview of the new Guidelines for Rehabilitation of Adults with Moderate to Severe TBI
- Identify key implications for occupational therapy practice within the community and hospital environments
- Explore strategies for implementing guidelines into clinical practice, including identification of potential barriers and challenges
