Translating research and implementing strategies to prevent neurotrauma injuries and improve care for those living with ABI and SCI is our driving mandate at ONF. Understanding the gaps in care for those living with neurotrauma injuries is key to the work we do at ONF. Today, on December 3 we were proud to celebrate International Day of Persons with Disabilities with March of Dimes Canada and Spinal Cord Injury Ontario. The Queen’s Park session welcomed guests: Honourable Raymond Cho, Minister for Seniors and Accessibility, MPPs Mike Schreiner and Joel Harden, SCIO CEO Dr. Stuart Howe among others. The event highlighted advocacy issues and the work underway to improve accessibility and inclusion Ontario.
