The Rick and Amanda Hansen Fellowship, in partnership with the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) and the Rick Hansen Institute (RHI), will be awarded to a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Physical Therapy, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto, who has an interest and focus in spinal cord injury research.
In partnership with the Centre for Family Medicine in Waterloo, the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation (ONF) with partners from the Rick Hansen Institute (RHI) will support the opening of five new mobility clinics across Ontario. The $700,000 grant from the ONF will help to provide primary care for persons with physical disabilities including spinal cord injury (SCI).
The Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation has released the new Concussion Handbook for patients and families. This user-friendly, booklet is derived from the evidence-based standards of post-concussion care.The handbook provides patients and families with the information they need to know, after experiencing a concussion. The handbook can be used as a guide for patients and families of any age to find the right care, at the right time, from the right provider.

Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation in partnership with Rick Hansen Institute has announced new funding opportunities in area of Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) research focused on the recommendations from three summits: urohealth, neuropathic pain and pressure ulcers.
The summit recommendations are in the 2017 Winter edition of NeuroMatters, the Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation newsletter.
The applications must be submitted by July 1, 2018.
