Call for Application: Acquired Brain Injury Catalyst Grants

May 19, 2020

It takes up to 17 years for research to be translated into practice and less than 20 percent of best practices are ever applied; however, this time can be greatly reduced by dedicating time and resources to the implementation of evidence-based best practices. We are advancing implementation efforts through catalyst funding to support the adoption of best practices.

The ABI Catalyst Grants were introduced to help clinics, rehabilitation settings, community groups, and other sites implement specific recommendations from the ONF Concussion and Moderate-to-Severe brain injury guidelines to improve the quality of patient care. Through these Catalyst Grants, ONF provides support for implementation of the best practice guidelines to foster sustained practices. Current Funding Opportunities

The Foundation has opened a call for applications for new grants. To find out whether your idea is appropriate for the Catalyst Grant funding, and to obtain an application form, please email Gazal Kukreja at gazal.kukreja@onf.org.

Applications must be received by June 15, 2020 and will be accepted on a rolling basis.

As result of the COVID-19 pandemic, we recognize that some individuals interested in applying for a Catalyst Grant may not be able to meet this deadline. Consideration will be given to those directly impacted by COVID-19 and flexibility in the application deadline will be provided on a case-by-case basis.
