Concussion Quality Standard Draft: Public Feedback

January 7, 2020

A DRAFT QUALITY STANDARD FOR CONCUSSION CARE IS AWAITING FEEDBACK

Together with Ontario Health (Quality), we are developing a quality standard for people 5 years and older with a concussion, outlining for patients and clinicians what quality care looks like.

This quality standard focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute concussion and prolonged or persistent post-concussion symptoms. Accompanying the standard is a patient guide to help people ask questions and have informed discussions with their health care providers.

Both documents are based on the best evidence along with input from clinicians and patients/ caregivers with lived experience.

We want to know what you think. Click below to read the draft quality standard and patient guide and share your feedback by January 27, 2020.
